Placing an Order
By placing an order with us, you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. Shipping & Costs
Deliveries to addresses in the United States, Caribbean, South America and Europe are made by FedEx or an LTL carrier, using the most economical route. Shipping costs are calculated by volumetric weight, and are shown at the time of order. All shipping costs indicated on our website are in USD.
We offer free domestic shipping within the United States on all orders (contiguous 48 states only). For Alaska, Hawaii and International addresses, shipping costs will be calculated at checkout. All deliveries within the United States will have local taxes added at checkout. For all international deliveries, shipping pricing excludes local taxes and duties, and are Delivered at Place (DAP- incoterms 2010). Shipping time is usually within 5-12 business days to most US capital cities, and up to 15 business days for international deliveries.
Your order will be dispatched from our warehouse within five business days after your purchase. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an automatic email from email@example.com with the tracking details so you can follow the status of your delivery. Please allow 5-12 working days for delivery via FEDEX or BTX Global.
From time to time a product will be out of stock. We will endeavor to ensure items are back in stock within 4-6 weeks or advise of any further delay. Any out of stock items will be noted as such on our online store.
Sometimes your delivery will be split by the courier company into partial deliveries of larger and smaller items. Please check the number of pieces on the total delivery to make sure none are missed. If the packaging is damaged, please do not sign the delivery docket and contact our Customer Care team immediately.
Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love your purchase, so if you are not completely happy, you may return it to us within 21 days of receipt for a refund or exchange – provided that the item is returned unused. Rugs that are damaged or soiled will not be accepted for return. We will not accept any returns of a rug pad underlay if it has been opened.
Returns are refunded in the original payment form for the merchandise price, less a 15% return fee. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable, unless the item received is damaged, defective or incorrect. For international returns, we will not credit customs and duties paid on your order; this must be pursued by customers. Armadillo is not liable for the loss of the item being returned.
The value of an item is determined by the amount paid and listed on your invoice. If you are exchanging for a completely different item, the value of the new item is determined by the online listed price at the time your exchange is processed. We cannot apply discounts from past sales/promotions.

Custom Rugs & Sale Items
We regret that we are not able to cancel, refund or exchange custom rugs or sale items unless there are manufacturer defects or damages.
Customers have 24 hours from the time the custom order is placed to cancel it. After 24 hours, the order is considered a final sale and cannot be refunded. Please note that lead times are estimations only. Due to factors beyond our control such as production or freight delays and/or adverse weather, we do not guarantee lead times.
Sales items purchased during a promotion, or from the “Sale” section are a final sale. No exchanges or returns of sale items are accepted at any time.
Our rugs are individually handmade and as such they are subject to the following variations, which are not considered faults or defects:
Size: Due to the handmade nature of our rugs, we allow for a 3% variation in size. Size variations within the allowance are not deemed defective and are not claimable.
Color: Our products are made primarily from natural fibers. Every effort is made to ensure there is minimal color variation, however, some variation can be expected. Color variations are not deemed defective and are not claimable. Please note that the colors are indicative only and true colors are best matched to the samples before ordering. If two rugs in the same colorway are required as a pair, please submit them as a custom order to ensure the same yarn batch is used.
Fading: Placing rugs in direct and continuous sunlight will cause them to fade. Charcoal color products will fade in natural light/sunlight. Some color may transfer on light-colored surfaces. Rotate your rug to minimize damage caused by natural light.
Design & Construction: Minor variations may be evident, which is due to the fact that the product is a handmade item including line/weave thickness.
Shading: Due to changes in pile and weave direction shading may occur and is a natural characteristic of carpets and rugs.
Shedding: Our hand made rugs are made from all natural fibers. Natural fiber rugs will initially shed loose fibers, this is a normal process. The removal of any loose fibers will be hastened by regular vacuuming using a good quality upright vacuum cleaner.
Pilling: Can occur due to traffic, moving of furniture, vacuuming or other mechanical agitation. This can be trimmed with scissors.
Pop-ups: Due to the type of weaving, there will be short fibers popping up while the rug settles. This can be trimmed or pushed through.
Our rugs are handmade and are therefore unable to have an unconditional warranty. However, we will repair or replace any rug if it is defective within 12 months from the date of purchase, provided the rug was used for normal household purposes and maintained in accordance with the care instructions by you. Any improper or negligent use or neglect will void this warranty. The warranty applies to household residential use only and not to any commercial, contract, rental, trade, institutional or other non-residential use.
Photographic evidence to support your claim, including a top shot of the product with at least two close-up images of the defect.
For the avoidance of doubt, a product is not defective if there is a manufacturing variation referred to above.
Notwithstanding any other provision of this agreement, we shall have no liability to you (whether for breach of contract, negligence or on any other basis) for loss of use, profit, revenue, business, contract or anticipated benefit or saving, or for any delay, increase in operating costs or for any special, indirect or consequential loss. Otherwise, our maximum aggregate liability to you (whether for breach of contract, negligence or on any other basis) is limited to the price of the product in respect of which such liability may arise.

Unless otherwise indicated, we own the copyright and other intellectual property rights (“IP”) in the content on this website. Some of the IP in the content may be owned by someone else and is included on our website under a license or agreement.

2024 Customer Survey Rug Giveaway
1. Eligibility: The giveaway is open to all Australian residents who are 18 years and older. Employees of Armadillo and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
2. How to Enter: To enter the giveaway, participants must complete the Armadillo survey form.
3. Giveaway Period: The giveaway will run from 9am (AEDT) on 19 February, 2024 until 11.59pm (AEDT) on 18 March, 2024. Entries received outside of this period will not be considered.
4. Prize: A stocked rug of choice from Armadillo’s Classic Collection (up to size 2 x 3m).
5. Winner Selection: The winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries on 22 March, 2024. The winner will be contacted by Armadillo via email to organise delivery of their prizes.
6. Claiming the Prize: If a prize is not claimed within 7 days of the winner being contacted via email, a new winner will be selected.
8. Agreement to Rules: By participating, you agree to be bound by these rules as outlined in the terms and conditions. All entrants into this competition agree to receive marketing materials and be placed on marketing lists for Armadillo.
9. Release and Indemnification: By entering the giveaway, participants agree to release and hold harmless Armadillo from any and all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from or relating to their participation in the giveaway or acceptance or use of the prize.
10. Armadillo reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the giveaway.
11. The conduct of the competition does not require a permit.
