Sales Support Consultant

The Sales Support Consultant is an integral member of the remote Trade sales team, based in Armadillo’s Dallas Showroom. This dual-function role supports both the remote Trade Account Managers, by assisting with quotes, orders, reports, and prospecting, while also directly servicing the South-Central region (NM, AK, and LA) in an inside sales capacity.

The successful candidate will ensure seamless showroom operations, provide administrative and sales support to the broader team, and maintain a polished, client-ready environment aligned with brand standards. This role requires adaptability, strong organizational skills, and a client-focused mindset to support the success of our trade sales function nationally. This is a full-time salary exempt role.

About You

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a polished client-facing presence.

• Self-starter with initiative to identify opportunities and support team success.

• Proficiency with sales systems and reporting tools; detail-oriented and highly accurate.

• Knowledge of the interior design industry, trade sales, or showroom operations preferred.

• Adaptability and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities

Remote Sales Support

Cover Trade Account Manager inboxes and assist trade customers when Account Managers are out-of-office.

• Support the organization and implementation of strategic initiatives as directed by the manager.

• Prepare and deliver monthly reporting, including sales, team interactions, and showroom traffic.

• Prospect new accounts by region on behalf of Remote Account Managers.

• Research and compile information on industry events, competitor activity, and market trends.

• Assist with expense reports when required.

Dallas Showroom

• Ensure showroom presentation and displays meet brand expectations, including opening and closing procedures.

• Manage sample distribution, replenishment, and organization for the Dallas showroom.

• Provide event support as needed, including showroom events and client gatherings.

Client Service

• Act as point of contact for trade customers in NM, AK, and LA, ensuring exceptional customer experience.

• Support out-of-office coverage for trade accounts as required.
