Head of Regional Sales - West Coast
Reporting to the President, this role is based in San Francisco, CA and is responsible for managing and mentoring a team of 5 Account Managers and 1 Showroom Manager & Trade Coordinator across the West Coast region. The Sales Manager will drive trade sales growth, provide leadership and development to the team, and ensure alignment with company strategies and values. In addition, this role oversees the Canada territory, driving sales growth, strengthening client relationships within the interior design and architecture community, and contributing to the ongoing development of the territory. This is a full-time salary exempt role.

- Ability to travel frequently within the Canada territory and periodically outside the region.
Desired Skills:
- 10+ years of sales and account management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in the interior design, architecture, or luxury furnishings industry preferred.
- Proven success in managing sales teams and exceeding revenue targets.
- Proficiency with Apple/Mac tools, CRM systems (Hubspot a plus), and Office 365 Suite.
- Strong understanding of the Northwest and West Coast design communities.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
Strong leadership and development of Account Managers and Sales Support team based in Orange County, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, ensuring they meet or exceed sales targets while upholding company values.
- Support, coach, and mentor team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s product offerings and the competitive landscape.
- Work closely with the Head of Regional Sales – EC to develop and execute sales strategies to keep the company competitive, innovative and expand our customer base.
- Collaborate with Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to develop and implement practical plans for the company’s operational infrastructure. This includes optimizing systems, processes, and personnel management to support the company’s growth goals effectively.
- Travel to visit trade account managers across various regions to shadow them, providing on-the-ground support and guidance.
- Evaluate field activities and provide actionable insights to improve sales performance.
Territory Oversight – Canada
- Drive sales growth and customer satisfaction by proactively seeking new business opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships.
- Develop a deep understanding of the Canada territory, actively contributing to its growth and development.
- Present products and build strong relationships with prospects and clients through regular interactions.
- Demonstrate expert product knowledge to recommend solutions for a wide range of applications.
- Manage client portfolio: fulfill orders, monitor delivery, process sample requests, and address inquiries, troubleshooting, and product care needs.
- Provide sales performance updates, with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Serve as a positive brand ambassador by attending industry events, client gatherings, and launches to increase brand visibility and generate new business.
- Travel within the Canada territory on a quarterly basis to strengthen client relationships, support growth initiatives, and maintain visibility in the region.
