Weaving Meaning Into Space at 3 Days of Design

In June, Armadillo debuted at 3 Days of Design in Copenhagen as part of Openhouse Magazine’s group exhibition, Gestures of Home, an installation that blurred the borders between domestic comfort and gallery artistry. Armadillo showed alongside Italian brand Saba Italia and Spanish design house Expormim — two like-minded brands we admire for their shared values: Saba for its female-founded, experimental spirit, and Expormim for its deep commitment to sustainability and craftsmanship.

Set within the elegant surrounds of The Conary, the exhibition unfolded through two immersive settings. On the ground floor, Saba crafted a welcoming, textured environment—soft, poetic, and deeply human. Upstairs, Expormim staged a sculptural, sunlit atrium space, celebrating Mediterranean craftsmanship. At the heart of it all, our handwoven rugs offered anchoring warmth and refined luxury, weaving together the various expressions of home. Within this shared canvas, we introduced AGRA FORMA to the global design stage, our conceptual furniture collaboration with Tom Fereday.

More than a display, Gestures of Home became a lived experience—a conversation between objects, space, light, and people. Over 1,500 guests attended the launch on June 18, enjoying live music, craft cocktails, and the warm atmosphere we all co‑created. The following day’s talk, featuring designers and curators, highlighted how personal rituals and carefully chosen objects can make a house feel like a gallery of our lives.

For Armadillo, this collaboration marked a milestone – our first showing in Europe, AGRA FORMA’s global debut and reaffirmed our excitement as we grow in the European market.
