Social Media & Communications Editor

The company is seeking an exceptional and highly motivated Social Media & Communications Editor. The position is a full time role, 5 days a week, based in Rushcutters Bay, Sydney.


This is a role for someone ready to be part of an exciting team, working in a fast past environment in the design industry.



Your responsibilities will be to strategise, plan, select, prioritise, edit, curate, copywrite and post content of all types (text, video, photo, etc.) for use on Social Media platforms (namely Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest + Houzz), and communications (namely EDM, newsletter, website, blog, etc.) with the goal of maximising reach, traffic, engagement and growing our audience & customer base.


Skills & Experience

The successful applicant will be a passionate individual that has the following attributes:


  • At least 3 years experience in Social Media/Communications
  • A creative thinker who can manage multiple platforms
  • Excellent eye for design, and a passion for architecture, design, interiors, etc.
  • Digital expertise and content innovation
  • Understanding of SEO principles and paid traffic platforms
  • Creative copy writing and editing skills
  • Excellent analytic and reporting skills
  • Efficient, accurate, and will have good time management skills
  • Capable of working autonomously, be a strong team player and thrive in a busy environment
  • Be able to multitask with accuracy
  • Advanced skills in MS office (Powerpoint, Word, Excel), InDesign will be an advantage
  • Demonstrate strong work ethic, attitude and values compatible to the A&Co. brand
