Accounts Clerk – US

Armadillo & Co designs and manufactures high-end, handmade, natural fibre rugs for the architectural, commercial and residential markets.

We are seeking an accurate and capable Accounts Clerk for a part time position, 24 hours per week, to join our growing team in our Flagship Showroom in Beverly Hills.

Duties involve:

  • Sales Order and invoice processing
  • Weekly dispatch
  • Accounts receivable and payable
  • Management of debtors
  • Processing and preparing supplier payments
  • Reconciling bank accounts
  • Processing and reconciling credit card statements
  • Telephone and various other general accounting and administration duties

It is desirable to have at least 3 years local experience in all of the above areas, and background in a small to medium sized business would be beneficial.

Must have excellent communication skills, both written & verbal.

A sound working knowledge of XERO is beneficial, as well as excellent Mac computers skills, particularly in Excel & Word.

The successful candidate will be efficient, accurate, have a sound understanding of accounting systems and procedures, and will have good time management skills.

This is an excellent opportunity, and salary will be negotiated according to experience.
